Riboflavin, or vitamin B2, is a light-sensitive vitamin whose impurity profile is controlled during manufacture and stability testing. Riboflavin EP Impurity C carries a European Pharmacopoeia impurity designation in its name, marking it as one of the related substances monitored alongside that drug substance. It is a yellow solid of formula C13H18N4O6 and molecular weight 326.31. Analytical laboratories use it to locate and assign impurity peaks in HPLC methods, to demonstrate resolution and system suitability, and to prepare calibration solutions when the impurity is measured against an external reference. Its colour and solubility behaviour also make it a convenient visual check during method development. Pack sizes listed here range from 0.5 mg to 200 mg. Store at -20 +/- 5 C and ship with ice packs. Request a quotation or the accompanying documentation to evaluate it further.
